Please be informed that, as per the decree issued by the Ministry of Finance, all used cars shipped to Beirut port before February 1st, 2023, will now be subject to customs tax based on an exchange rate of 8,000 LBP to 1 USD, instead of 15,000 LBP. Due to this change, the inspection bay for cars is currently full, leading to a delay in unloading new containers.
